# Backups and Security FAQ * First Resonance performs daily backups that are retained for a 25 day period. This is reserved for emergencies and allows us to revert the entire database to an earlier date. * We use Amazon's Key Management Service (KMS) to hold encryption keys for data. AWS KMS is designed so that no one can retrieve your plaintext keys.
