Inventory decrement

Kitting an inventory item decrements the available quantity. Notice this example where qty 1 has been kitted from a total of 6. The available quantity to kit or install elsewhere is now 5.

Additionally, clicking on the Kitted on column values will show you where the item is kitted.

An inventory will belong to the kit while the kit is not complete. When the kit is complete, the inventory is available once again. This to help support material transfers and other flows where the part goes back to available inventory.
