Migration

The existing roles before Role based access control was released into ION included:

• admin

• engineer

• technician

• inventory

• planner

These roles will continue to be protected (you are unable to delete them) for the time being.

Also, before this project existed, users had a wide set of create/update/delete permissions in ION. These permissions have been migrated to a user role. All preexisting users will have access to this user role unless you remove them from it.
